Presentation of LSI

LSI, a social-democratic party, was founded in 2004 by a splinter group from the Socialist Party of Albania; chaired by Ilir Meta, LSI won five seats in the Parliament in the 2005 election. LSI is member of the Socialist International and of the Party of European Socialists.

The symbol anf flag (flag of LSI are prescribed in Article 3.1 of the party's Statutes (text), as follows.
"The symbol of LSI is made of the initials LSI placed over a rose with stalk and leaves. The symbol is placed on the logo and flag of the LSI.".
